MALI. During the month of June nearly a hundred Christians were killed by Muslims in Mali.

A village in Sobame Da, where most of the residents were Christian, was attacked by Fulani Militia who burned houses and killed at least 95 men, women and children. That’s one out of three inhabitants in the village and an unnamed person says that it has been virtually wiped out. The survivors are still searching for the bodies of the 19 people that are missing since the raid. Amadou Togo said:

About 50 heavily armed men arrived on motorbikes and pickups. They first surrounded the village and then attacked — anyone who tried to escape was killed. No one was spared — women, children, elderly people.

According to Open Doors less than 1% of Christians live in West Africa and they are often targeted by predominantly Muslim terrorist groups.
